The Swedish aerial ropeway manufacturer AB Nordströms Linbanor’s film from 1941 from the building of the aerial ropeway Forsby–Köping

The building of the aerial ropeway Forsby–Köping and the cement plant in Köping were swiftly completed during World war II. The ropeway was built by AB Nordströms Linbanor. The construction work was filmed in a 20 minute long documentary commercial. The film is presented in its original form with the original English voice-over from that period in time.

The 42 km long ropeway was put in use in 1941, and was then the longest ropeway in Sweden. It was in service until 1997. Both the ropeway and the limestone plant in Köping is today owned by Nordkalk AB.

Dual language version

Narration, subtitles and menus both in Swedish and English narration, and both Swedish and English.
